Timberhaven’s Fall 2017 Planning & Construction Seminar
Last Saturday Timberhaven Log & Timber Homes hosted another successful planning & construction seminar. Dozens of enthusiasts gathered to gain a better understanding of our log home and timber frame home design and building processes. Guests traveled hundreds of miles — from all across Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, and New Jersey — for the one-day event at Timberhaven’s facility in Middleburg, PA.
From concept through construction, Timberhaven’s experts informed attendees how to compare log home and timber frame home manufacturers, what considerations should be made when finalizing a design and purchasing land, and walked attendees step by step through the manufacturing process.
Guests toured the manufacturing facility on 1081 Salem Church Road, Middleburg and had an opportunity to see first-hand how the company’s premium grade Engineered Logs are manufactured, profiled, precision cut and assessed for quality per Log Home Council’s grading standards. The day concluded with a timber frame demonstration which underscored the craftsmanship behind the precision joinery.
