Fall 2016 Log Home Planning Seminar Deemed a Success

On Saturday, October 15, 2016, Timberhaven hosted another successful Log Home Construction & Planning Seminar.  Nearly 40 log home enthusiasts gathered to gain a better understanding of our log home design and building processes.  Guests from Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio, New York, New Jersey, Virginia, and Kentucky traveled to Middleburg, PA on Saturday for the one-day event at Timberhaven’s facility.

Fall 2016 Planning Seminar: An Educational Event

From concept through construction, Timberhaven’s professional staff informed attendees how to compare log home manufacturers, what considerations should be made when finalizing a design and purchasing land, and walked attendees step by step through the manufacturing process.  Guests toured the manufacturing facility located at 1081 Salem Church Road and had an opportunity to see first-hand how the company’s logs are engineered, planed, profiled, and assessed for quality per Log Home Council’s grading standards.  Insights were also shared regarding building site preparations and delivery day techniques.
