New Design: Memorial Lake Log Home
This time of year, it’s hard not to daydream a bit about warmer days. And sometimes, all it takes is a special word (or two) to ignite those thoughts. Words like “Memorial Lake”, for instance. While this might sound like a relaxing destination more than anything else, it also happens to be the name of one of our new log home designs!
Memorial Lake Log Home Floor Plan
The Memorial Lake is a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath log home design that offers 2,850 square feet of total living space spread out over two stories. From the minute you walk through the door, you get the feeling that this is a home that will serve as the perfect respite from the daily hustle and bustle of life. The generous entryway, which boasts double closets, opens up to a spacious great room perfect for both quiet nights at home with family and fun-filled evenings entertaining guests. Off the great room to the left, is the master bedroom complete with a master bath and walk-in closet. To the right of the great room are the kitchen and dining room, which then leads into the pantry, laundry room, half-bath, and 2-car garage.
Upstairs you’ll find the remaining two bedrooms with an adjoining bath. Also upstairs is the loft area, which overlooks the living and dining area below. Finally, we can’t forget the expansive outdoor living area that includes a roomy front porch and spacious rear deck that encompasses the space of the back of the home and can be accessed from two different exit points in the great room.
A Log Home Customized to Suit Your Style and Needs
As with our other log home and timber frame home designs, the Memorial Lake can be customized to suit your personal style and needs. From a design perspective, we can mirror the floor plan, incorporate an alternative glass schematic, extend the left wing/bedroom areas and more. Perhaps you prefer the Timber Frame or Hybrid Home look, in which case we can offer that style as well. Ultimately, building a custom Timberhaven home allows you to make your home as unique as you’d like.
