It’s safe to say that this year (and definitely the one before it) has been long and trying. And for a lot of us, post-pandemic life just doesn’t look the same as it once did. So, is it any wonder that now, more than ever, there’s a desire—a need—to embrace the holiday season more than ever before?
If this recent upheaval has taught us anything, it’s that there are no guarantees in life. No guarantees that our creature comforts will be readily available. No guarantee that our loved ones will always be around. No guarantees that something like this will never happen again.
Therefore, time is precious, and perspective is everything…
Christmas shouldn’t just be a season, but rather a state of mind. As we move forward toward better days, it’s important that we don’t lose sight of what truly matters. Hold on to that joy and excitement this time of year brings. Bottle as much of it up so it can carry you through the upcoming year. There may still be challenges ahead but keeping your focus on things of true value can help you find a much-needed sense of peace.
At Timberhaven, we faced our fair share of challenges this year, and we know our clients did, too. Exorbitant material prices, material shortages, trucking shortages, and unfortunately, personal loss due to the Covid-19 virus, are just a handful of things that made 2021 quite overwhelming.
And yet, even among the challenges and uncertainty, there were blessings…
Our wonderful clients, incredible team of employees and independent dealers faced those challenges head on. And, through teamwork and unwavering commitment, we were able to continue bringing the dream of log and timber homes to fruition. A blessing indeed!
We don’t know what tomorrow holds, so let’s focus on today. The memories you make in your home and with those dear to you will last far longer than any gift you’ll find under the Christmas tree.
